Suess Sayings, commissioned by the Ravinia Festival Education and Community Partnerships Department (Highland Park, Illinois) for the Norwood Middle School Choir. Soprano, Alto, and "Suess Choir" (chanters), vibraphone and piano. Proportional score, utilizing aleatoric gestures and conventional musical notation.
Elm Place Overture, for middle school orchestra, either full instrumentation, strings only with percussion. Can also be performed with strings and timpani, or strings only - in either of these cases, just omit the middle percussion soli section. Also, available for band.
